Marjorie E. Walter

Marjorie E. Walter, 86, of Mansfield, and formerly of Sycamore, died at 1:36 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2018, at OhioHealth MedCentral Hospital, Mansfield.

She was born Nov. 24, 1931, in Mineral Wells, West Virginia, to John M. and Stella (Jackson) Bargeloh. She married Wayne A. Walter Nov. 25, 1956, and he died Jan. 17, 1982.

Surviving are the following children, Patricia (Greg) Ruess of Newark, Catherine (David) Cole of Ontario and John (Donna) Walter of Riverside; six grandchildren, Adam Cole, James Walter, Amanda Cole Perez, Shaina Walter, Sarah Walter and Spencer Ruess; three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Mason and Mallory Perez; and three brothers, Robert Bargeloh of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Wayne Bargeloh of Mineral Wells, West Virginia and Wesley Bargeloh of Parkersburg, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Betty Gall, and one brother, Earl Bargeloh.

She was a 1950 graduate of Parkersburg High School, Parkersburg, West Virginia, and also graduated from Camden Clark Nursing School in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Marjorie was a retired registered nurse, having worked in all the facilities throughout Wyandot County over her lifetime. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Wellington. She also was a former member of Sycamore United Methodist Church and Wildwood Chapel, rural Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, she loved embroidering, doing puzzles and gardening, and was a very active member of the church, where she played the piano and loved singing in the choir.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore.

The funeral for Marjorie will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
