Betty Jackson, 89, died at 5:06 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Beaumont Hospital, Michigan.
Betty Jean Cousin was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Fostoria, to Roy and Alice (Talbot) Cousin. She married Charles Richard Jackson May 11, 1946.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Antoinette (Robert) Heath of Florida, Mrs. Claudette (Paul) Smith Sr. of Michigan and Mrs. Sarah (Glynn) Joseph Sr. of Tiffin; her sister, Marzetta Dinkins of Fremont; two daughters-in-law, Pearlynn Jackson and Kimberly Jackson; as well as, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her brother, Kenneth Cousin of Fostoria; a sister, Vandetta Garvin (Toledo); and two sons, Charles Lynnwood Jackson Sr. and Richard Eugene Jackson, both of Tiffin.
Betty retired from General Electric. She was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her greatest joy was helping her neighbors better understand the promises in the Bible of a paradise earth where no one will ever die but have everlasting life, in perfect health.
Services for Betty will begin at 1 p.m Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 68 Riverside Drive, Tiffin, OH 44883.
