Tiffin man indicted by grand jury
A Tiffin man has been accused of failing to register his new residence address.
Corey B. Lynch, 38, was indicted by a Seneca County grand jury on a charge of failure to register new residence address, a third-degree felony, according to court records.
His indictment states he has a duty to register his residence address with the sheriff for being convicted of a sexually oriented offense.
He was convicted of child molestation, a first-degree felony, in Washington on Dec. 20, 1996, court records state.
The charge would constitute the offense of rape of a child, a first-degree felony, if committed in Ohio, they state.
Lynch allegedly failed to provide written notice of any change of residence address to the sheriff, according to court records.
Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley is to preside over the case.
