Pedestrian struck at Washington, Perry streets

A pedestrian in the crosswalk was struck at Washington and Perry streets on Monday.

According to Tiffin Police Department, Jessica C. Williams, 36, of Tiffin, was driving a 2012 Toyota Prius.

The police department identified the woman who was struck as Karon L. Moyer, 65, of Tiffin.

Tiffin Fire Rescue Division took her to Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital.

Officer Justin Nowak of Tiffin Police Department said Life Flight was called to the hospital.

Moyer was alert and talking, he said.

It was unknown Wednesday night who had the right-of-way, he said.

No citations had been issued at the scene.

The accident occurred about 8 p.m.
