Ashland man sentenced to prison

An Ashland man was sentenced to prison during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom.

Calvin E. Consla, 36, admitted he violated the terms of his community control, according to court records.

Shuff revoked Consla’s community control and sentenced him to six months in prison, they state.

Consla had been convicted of a charge of attempted escape, a fourth-degree felony, and was sentenced to three years of community control.

Fostoria woman’s community control continued

A Fostoria woman admitted she violated the terms of her community control.

Keeona S. Settles, 26, admitted the violation during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom, according to court records.

Shuff continued her community control and sentenced her to 330 days in Seneca County Jail, with credit for 297 days served.

Settles had pleaded guilty to a charge of permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony.

Tiffin woman pleads guilty

A Tiffin woman pleaded guilty to drug-related charges during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom.

Brandy D. Drown, 39, entered written negotiated pleas of guilty to charges of possession of drugs and and aggravated possession of drugs, both fifth-degree felonies, according to court records.

The case was referred for a pre-sentence investigation report.

Sycamore man pleads guilty

A Sycamore man pleaded guilty to charges during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom.

Jeffrey L. Harmon, 48, entered written negotiated pleas of guilty to charges of passing bad checks and three counts of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies, according to court records.

The case was referred for a pre-sentence investigation report.
