Tiffin-Seneca United Way Holiday Raffle

Tiffin-Seneca United Way is selling tickets for its Holiday Raffle. Tickets are $5.00 and are being sold at Bailiwick’s Coffee Co., Madison Street Tavern and Tiffin-Seneca United Way The drawing will take place at the Ritz Theatre Dec. 21 during the Christmas movie of “It’s a Wonderful Life!” United Way will be drawing two tickets and each will receive a Gift Card tree worth $500 of gift certificates to our local businesses.

Board of Control to meet

The City of Tiffin Board of Control is to meet at 11 a.m. Friday in the Administrative Conference Room, 51 E. Market St.

The purpose of the meeting is to award the construct contract for the WPCC project and any other business that may come before the board.

TCS program committee to meet

The Tiffin City Board of Education’s Program Committee will meet at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Administration Building, located at 244 S. Monroe St.

Council schedules special meeting to consider 2020 budget

The Tiffin City Council has scheduled special meetings at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17 and 23 in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 51 E. Market St.

For the purpose to read proposed ordinance for the 2020 Budget and any other business Council may consider.

Adams Township Trustees to meet

The final meeting of 2019 for the Adams Township Trustees is to be Dec. 26 at 8:30 am. The 2020 Annual Reorganizational Meeting will be held immediately following the regular meeting. Meetings are held at the Adams Township Garage located at the corner of Twp Rd. 148 and 179, Republic. All meetings are open to the public.

St. Francis School of Music recital

St. Francis School of Music is hosting a recital at 2 p.m. Sunday in the St. Francis Convent Chapel, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin.

Amy Fretz’ and Sister Marietta Kill’s students Amy Buchman, Cadence Boehler, Eddy Willman, Natalie and Sienna Tiell, Raphael Confesor, Zoe Johnson, Claire, Elyse, Issac and Molly Lortz and ViVi Anna Moellinex, will perform. Please come and enjoy the Christmas music.

Hopewell-Loudon Traveling Ensemble Christmas program

The Hopewell-Loudon Traveling Ensemble Christmas program will perform at 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Allen Eiry Center, 28 Hopewell Ave., Tiffin. This is a great group of teens who love to perform will bring the Christmas spirit into the season! The event is free and open to the public. Cookies and punch will be served after the event.
