PUCO seeks comments on administrative rules

COLUMBUS — The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has issued draft administrative rules for public comment. Comments are due Jan. 3.

As part of its regular five-year review, the commission released draft rules regarding practice and procedures, public meetings, formal complaint proceedings and disclosure of utility tariffs and underground utility protection service registration.

The commission is seeking comments on the proposed changes. Reply comments are due Jan. 17. The public can provide comment on the “Contact Us” section on the PUCO website. Correspondences should reference case numbers 18-275-AU-ORD, 18-276-AU-ORD, 18-277-AU-ORD and 18-278-AU-ORD.

Last day for leaf bag pick-up

The last day for the city leaf bag pick-up is Friday.

The city Public Works Department is to pick up bagged leaves at the curb. If you still have leaves to dispose of after that date, citizens can take leaves to the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 N. Water St.

Jim Jordan staff to host Tiffin meeting Wednesday

A staff member of Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) is to meet with constituents 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Caroline Bick, Jordan’s deputy district director, is to be at Tiffin-Seneca Library, 77 Jefferson St.

Ribbon cutting to take place at Tiffin yoga studio’s new location

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will host a ribbon cutting for Gem Yoga & Life Enrichment Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4:15 -.m, according to a release from the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.

Owner Gemma Marschke will show attendees around the new location, which provides a safe and welcoming environment for personal growth in body, mind and spirit, the release states.

Available services at the new Gem Yoga & Life Enrichment location include yoga classes, private yoga therapy, energy psychology, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, reflexology, aromatherapy and more, it states.

Attendees at the ribbon cutting ceremony will have an opportunity to learn more about these services and to be entered into a drawing for free services, it states.

Gem Yoga & Life Enrichment is located at 2 Sycamore St.
