Ohio auditor meets with SC elected officials

Ohio Auditor Keith Faber (blue shirt on right) gestures during a meeting with Seneca County elected officials Tuesday morning. Faber was in town as part of a tour through Ohio’s counties. He said the state office conducted 6,000 audits each year. “Our job is to be Bob and Becky Buckeye’s check on government funding,” he said. Faber talked to local officials about local government audits, providing information on new plans that will be coming in the future and answering specific questions about local audit issues. In the meeting with Faber were (clockwise) his office’s northwest regional liaison Lori Brodie; his director of security, Joseph Ty Walker; and Seneca County officials Clerk of Courts Jean Eckelberry, Commissioner Tony Paradiso, Judge Steve Shuff, Engineer Mark Zimmerman, Auditor Julie Adkins and Commissioner Shayne Thomas. Also attending was Prosecutor Derek DeVine.
