Marion man sentenced to prison
A Marion man was sentenced to two years in prison during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom.
Danny Lee Moore, 42, entered a written negotiated plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony, court records state.
Kelbley sentenced him to two years in prison, with credit for five days served, they state.
Sycamore woman indicted
A Sycamore woman was indicted by a Seneca County grand jury.
Nicole L. Fitch, 32, was charged with harassment with bodily substance, a fifth-degree felony, according to court records.
The alleged incident occurred when she was confined in a detention facility Aug. 20, according to her indictment.
Blair named VP at AMP
COLUMBUS — American Municipal Power Inc. has promoted named Andrew Blair to vice president of financial planning and analysis.
In his new role, Blair will oversee the operations of the debt management and power settlement groups, and will be responsible for coordinating the development of annual budgets for all AMP projects and business activities.
Blair joined AMP in 1987 as a power dispatcher and has worked in operations and engineering, including at the Richard H. Gorsuch Generating Station. Blair’s 30-year career with AMP spans various positions and disciplines. He was promoted to assistance vice president of financial planning and analysis in 2013.
Blair has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio University. He is the 2015 recipient of AMP’s DNA Award.

The Tiffin City Board of Education meeting is to be 7 p.m. tonight at the Tiffin Middle School, 103 Shepherd Drive.
