Fall in Love with Seneca County’s open houses today

A number of Seneca County’s businesses are hosting open houses and showing off their fall flair with personally crafted scarecrows in celebration of the Fall in Love with Seneca County’s Open Houses event today.

A list of registered businesses taking part in today’s open house event are as follows:

• 22 mrkt, 22 E. Market St.; free canvas shopping bag with $50 purchase.

• AAA Ohio Auto Club, 191 E. Market St.; make and take, and meet Sam the Safety Scarecrow.

• Arlington Acres, 3191 W. SR 18; pumpkins available, barn tours.

• Autumnwood Care Center, 670 E. SR 18; ice cream social and Welcome Snoopy Gathering.

• Charlie’s Small Engines, 2525 W. Market St.; test drive a Cub Cadet or Ferris.

• Community Hospice Care by Stein, 181 E. Perry St.; refreshments available, meet Angel Care Crow.

• Good Shepherd Home, 725 Columbus Ave., Fostoria; Eagle Creek General Store open, refreshments, and get a picture with Shep the Scarecrow.

• Lowe’s, 1025 W. Market St.; face painting, firefighters and fire safety, food, demonstrations, balloons and more.

• Ralph’s Joy of Living, 33 N. Washington St.; free samples, fall specials.

• Reclaim It, 127 S. Washington St.; 50% off vintage items.

• Releve Barre Studio, 131 S. Washington St.; take a peek at the studio’s progress.

• Simply Susan’s, 70 S. Washington St.; 10% all purchases, excluding consignment items.

• Something Special II, 111 S. Sycamore St., Sycamore; bow making, 50% off all fall garlands.

• The Renaissance of Tiffin, 129 S. Washington St.; fall specials, and have a drink with Baby Face Kelly the Scarecrow.

• Threads, 2451 W. Market St.; refreshments available, customer surprises.

• Tiffin Rehabilitation Center, 48 St. Lawrence Dr.; tours, blood pressure screenings.

• US Bank, 730 W. Market St.; refreshments available, and meet Team Buckeye.

There are also other Seneca County businesses taking part in the open house event today, said Deb Martorana of the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The event is sponsored by the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
