Tiffin woman sentenced to prison

A Tiffin woman was sentenced to two years in prison during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom.

Amber R. Schaade, 35, entered a written negotiated plea of guilty to four counts of trafficking in cocaine, all fifth-degree felonies, court records state.

Kelbley sentenced her to two years in prison, with credit for nine days served, and ordered her to pay a $1,106 fine, they state.

Board of Elections to meet Thursday

Seneca County Board of Elections is to meet at noon Thursday at the board office, 71 S. Washington St., Suite 1101.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the 2020 budget, election updates, cybersecurity updates and any other business that comes before the board.

TRIAD to meet next week

FOSTORIA – The next TRIAD meeting is to be Monday, Oct. 14 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Manor, 25 Christopher Drive., Fostoria.

Topics of discussion at the meeting are to include ALERT training for dealing with violent persons in public places and Block Watch for citizens of Fostoria, a release from TRIAD states.

TRIAD encourages adults 55 and older to attend and engage with the community at the meeting, the release states.

Coffee and refreshments will be available at the meeting, it states.
