Kenton man charged with robbery after Walmart incident

A Kenton man was charged with robbery after allegedly pushing down a Walmart employee Tuesday morning, according to Tiffin Police Department.

Ronald H. Cyb, 46, was charged with robbery, a third-degree felony, and resisting arrest, a second-degree misdemeanor.

Tiffin Police Department officers were sent to Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, for a theft report.

The asset protection officer advised Cyb shoved her to the ground when she attempted to stop him, according to a police department report.

Cyb ran from officers through the employee entrance to Buffalo Wild Wings and was found in the restaurant’s restroom, it states.

The asset protection officer was able to locate the property he discarded while running near a retention pond, and the value of the five LEGO sets taken from Walmart is $116.79, according to the police report.

Cyb was being held without bond in Seneca County Jail.
