Downtown Fremont to host Crop Circle Art & Music Festival

FREMONT — Downtown Fremont Inc. will host The Bellevue Hospital Crop Circle Art & Music Festival Oct. 4 from 6-9 p.m. and the Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and The Bellevue Hospital Crop Circle Events 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 5. Both events will take place on Front Street in Fremont and attendance to the festival, market and events will be free to the public. Friday evening events consist of Chalk Art with Caroline Jardine; Open Mic Night at Elroy's Deli & Market; an artist gallery at the 219 Brady Building; an art walk and various photo ops; Starry Trails: Interactive Telescope; glow-in-the-dark shirt crafting and other alien and outer space-themed crafts for kids; glass blowing by Paul Otermat; an appearance by Nick the Magician; Glass City Steel Drummers; and a Glow Bike Ride at 9 p.m. to close out Friday night, a release from Downtown Fremont Inc. states. On Oct. 5, there will be a farmers market and Crop Circle Events, which include will be an art walk and photo ops; Starry Trails: Planetarium at Live Edge Center; an artist gallery at the 219 Brady Building; Chalk Art with Caroline Jardine; Kazenodaichi Taiko Drummers; Flat TopRepublic; alien and outer space-themed crafts for kids; mini-mural painting; Yarn Bombing by Michelle Atkinson; bubble sharks; Sandusky County Share & Care art tile activity; caricatures with Isaac Klunk; and glass blowing by Eamon King, the release states.
