Green Springs man convicted of sex-related crimes
A Green Springs man was convicted by a jury of four sex-related crimes.
Robert A. Stull, 37, had been charged with 14 counts of rape, all first-degree felonies, and three counts of gross sexual imposition, all third-degree felonies, according to Sandusky County Clerk of Courts records.
The jury found him guilty of two counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition and found the victim in each rape count was under 10, according to court records.
The jury found Stull not guilty of the other 13 counts.
Stull was sentenced to a mandatory term of life in prison without parole, to be served consecutively to five years in prison for each gross sexual imposition count, according to court records.
He was classified as a Tier III sex offender, with in-person verification every 90 days for his lifetime.
The case had involved four youths and an allegation of a sexual assault of a teenage girl on Water Street in Tiffin, Lt. Detective Mark Marquis of Tiffin Police Department had said.
An attorney was appointed for appeal purposes.
