Four sent to hospital after three- vehicle accident near Six’s Corner

Two adults and two children were transported to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital after a three-vehicle accident on North Sandusky Street at the Six’s Corner intersection Friday.

Tiffin Police Department responded to the call at 12:30 p.m. and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division was dispatched as well, Officer Nicholas Weber of Tiffin Police Department said.

A cause for the accident is yet to be determined, Weber said Friday.

“Alcohol was a factor, we believe, and there will most likely be charges made once we get through our investigation,” Weber said.

Tiffin Fire Rescue Division transported all four people to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital. A cover assignment was issued at the 53 S. Monroe St. station to be sure there were Tiffin Fire Rescue Division personnel on station during the call.
