Fostoria Heritage Day

A 1918 model automobile manufactured by the Allen Motor Car Co. in Fostoria was parked outside of the Fostoria Historical Museum, 123 W. North St., Saturday in celebration of Fostoria Heritage Day. There were three small-scale automobile manufacturers in Fostoria before mass production took over the industry — the Seneca Motor Co., the Allen Motor Car Co. and the Fostoria Light Automobile Co., according to the Fostoria Area Historical Society. Also, a wide variety of classic cars lined Fostoria’s Main Street Saturday afternoon for the Historical Society Car Show. In addition, there was an antique show at the Fostoria Senior Center, 125 W. North St., and a farmers’ market in downtown Fostoria in the morning. The day was capped off with the Northwest Ohio Historic Film Festival at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St.
