Coming this fall, scarecrows in Seneca County

The Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce and the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Services are asking businesses and organizations to participate in the Fall in Love with Seneca County’s Open Houses Oct. 12.

The event is open to businesses in Seneca County and some that border the county, according to a release from the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Businesses that participate are encouraged to host activities or demonstrations, the release states, in order to advertise and introduce their business to new people.

In addition, the Chambers of Commerce are asking businesses and residents to make a scarecrow to display for the fall, the release states.

Scarecrows can also be registered online at the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce’s website, tiffinchamber.com.
