Michigan man charged after traffic stop
A Michigan man was charged after a traffic stop in Sandusky County resulted in the seizure of 490 grams of cocaine worth about $44,590, according to a State Highway Patrol release.
Andre S. Lee, 23, of Detroit, was charged with possession and trafficking in cocaine, both first-degree felonies, and was incarcerated in Sandusky County Jail, it states.
About 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, troopers stopped a 2005 Ford Fusion for a license plate light violation on the Ohio Turnpike, and while interacting with the occupants, they detected a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the vehicle, the release states.
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed cocaine and 15 grams of marijuana, it states.
Lee was the passenger in the vehicle.
