Man admits grand theft, receiving stolen property

A Tiffin man pleaded guilty to two charges during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom Wednesday morning.

Kelby M. Fetro, 21, proceeded with a bill of information and pleaded guilty to a charge of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. He pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, in another case.

Fetro also admitted he violated his community control in two previous cases.

In those cases, he had pleaded guilty to two counts of theft, both fifth-degree felonies.

A pre-sentence investigation is to be conducted, and the parties are to argue for the appropriate sentence in August.
