Public forum on landfill odor issues set
Seneca County General Health District has scheduled a public forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday to inform people about the issues at Sunny Farm Landfill and measures being taken to address odor problems.
The meeting is to take place at the Performing Arts Center of Fostoria Junior/Senior High School, 1001 Park Ave., Fostoria. People attending should park in the south lot and enter the building via the south entrance.
Representatives from Sunny Farms Landfill, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the health department are to give short presentations at the beginning of the forum, and then people can submit questions in writing.
The Ohio Department of Health also is to have representatives available to help answer questions.
The event is estimated to last until about 8 p.m.
