FOSTORIA — Fostoria Police Department received more than 10 reports of vehicles being damaged from Monday night to Tuesday afternoon.
The department asked anyone with information about the vandalism to call the department at (419) 435-8573.
About 8:15 p.m. Monday, an East Center Street woman reported a window in her home just had been shot with a pellet gun from a vehicle driving by.
Then, a Lincoln Avenue man reported the rear driver’s side window of his vehicle had been broken out.
About 9:15 p.m. Monday, a West Center Street resident reported the driver’s side window of a vehicle was broken out, and about 10:30 p.m. Monday, an East Fremont Street resident reported damage to a vehicle window, a police report states.
About 11 p.m. Monday, a woman reported damage to her vehicle. She reported her window was broken out while her car was parked on West Jackson Street, the report states.
At 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, a West North Street woman reported damage to her vehicle, and about 1 a.m. Tuesday, a person on North Poplar Street reported a vehicle with the driver’s side passenger window shot out.
About 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, a Stadium Drive woman reported her driver’s side front window of her vehicle was broken out.
About 6 a.m. Tuesday, a Sycamore Street man reported the driver’s side window was broken out of his pickup truck, and about about 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, a West Center Street man reported the back window of his vehicle was broken out.
At 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, a South Adams Street man reported a window in his vehicle was broken out over night. The driver’s side window was shattered and appeared to be from a BB or pellet gun, the report states.
About 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, an South Adams Street resident reported a van with damage, and the van had its driver’s side window shot with a BB or pellet gun, the report states.
About 4 p.m. Tuesday, an Anderson Avenue resident reported damage done to a vehicle.
Also about 4 p.m. Tuesday, a person reported damage done to a vehicle on West Center Street. The driver’s side door was shot with a BB gun, the report states.
At 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, a person from Seneca East School reported one of the buses appeared to have been shot with a BB gun, according to a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office report.
About 6 a.m. Tuesday, a resident of West Eden Street in Attica reported the house was struck twice, and the person believed it may have been from a BB gun or a small weapon such as a BB gun, it states.
