Fostoria schools intervention specialist indicted

A Fostoria City Schools intervention specialist has been indicted by a Seneca County grand jury.

Brandy L. Madden, 38, of Tiffin, was charged with assault, a fourth-degree felony, court records state.

Madden allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a functionally impaired person under her care Oct. 5, according to her indictment.

According to Fostoria Police Department, Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services sent the police department a referral about alleged possible inappropriate discipline involving a Fostoria City Schools student.

Madden is an intervention specialist at Riley Elementary School, according to the district’s website.

Also indicted by a grand jury were:

• Kelly E. Hutton, 29, of Fostoria, who was charged with six counts of trafficking in cocaine, all fifth-degree felonies.

• Deangelo M. Keys, 25, of Fostoria, who was charged with domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony, court records state.

• Harmony E. Miller, 31, who was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor.
