TPD looking at possible heroin overdose

Tiffin Police Department is investigating a possible heroin overdose Saturday night.

Officer Justin Nowak of Tiffin Police Department said officers responded to a report of a 30-year-old man who was unresponsive and possibly overdosed at 630 S. Sandusky St. Narcan was administered and the man was transported to Mercy Health — Tiffin Hospital, he said.

Nowak said evidence was collected at the scene and the incident was being investigated as a suspected heroin overdose. Charges are pending the completion of the entire investigation, he said.

The incident was reported at 10:34 p.m. and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, Tiffin Police Department and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

Architectural review board meets Tuesday

Tiffin’s Architectural Board of Review has scheduled a hearing for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at city hall, 51 E. Market St.

An application for sign enhancement and signage at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., is on the agenda.
