School board moves on levy | Advertiser-Tribune Tiffin City Board of Education approved the first resolution needed to place a permanent improvement levy on the November ballot Tuesday during its regular meeting. The resolution is to renew an existing 1-mill tax levy with an increase of 1.72-mills, totaling 2.72 mills. The permanent improvement levy would generate $804,890 for the district and cost the owner of a $100,000 house $74 a year.
