Tiffin report

• A man in the 1000 block of West Market street reported Friday morning his credit card stolen and charged $600.

Fostoria reports

• A woman at East Tiffin and South Main streets reported she was knocked over onto the sidewalk and had her purse stolen Friday afternoon.

• A woman at Good Shepherd Home, 720 Chesapeake Ct., reported Friday afternoon three women came into her room and stole her Social Security and Medicare cards Thursday night.

Fostoria accidents

• Mary C. Scholidon, 64, of Fostoria, was cited with failure to yield and a stop sign violation after an accident on South Countyline Street Wednesday afternoon.

• A one-vehicle accident was reported at Bricker and South Wood streets early Friday morning.

Fire

• Bascom fire and EMS and the Echo unit responded to a gas smell at 1548 S. SR 53 Thursday evening. The smell turned out to be coming from a dead animal nearby.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to a carbon monoxide incident early Friday morning.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to a report at 670 N. Shaffer Park Dr. Friday morning, but no incident was discovered upon arrival.

• North Central EMS assisted with a fire alarm at 401 N. Broadway, Green Springs, Friday morning.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division responded to a smoke detector activation due to malfunction at 600 N. River Rd. Friday morning.

• Tiffin Fire Rescue Division had two squad runs Thursday evening, one squad run Thursday night, one squad run early Friday morning and two squad runs Friday afternoon.
