A first-block West Market Street caller reported Friday afternoon four men and one woman were throwing rocks at ducks. According to the report, the caller saw two dead ducks float down the river.

A caller in the 100 block of Third Avenue reported Friday evening a neighbor girl threatened to stab her daughter.

A 300-block West Perry Street caller reported Friday evening a laptop was taken.

A first-block Tomb Street man reported Friday evening his ex-girlfriend left marijuana at his house.

A child abuse investigation was reported Friday night in the first block of Tiffin Street.

A 200-block Seventh Avenue caller reported early Saturday morning a house was broken into and two televisions were taken.

A caller in the 200 block of Circular Street reported early Saturday morning someone was in the upstairs apartment with a flashlight, and the tenant was in jail.

A 100-block West Market caller reported Saturday morning damage to a garage door on a rental property.

A first-block Grace Street caller reported Saturday morning being threatened by a neighbor.

A caller reported Saturday morning a back door in the first block of Riverside was kicked in.

A first-block Jefferson Street caller reported Saturday afternoon possible drug activity.

County reports

A robbery was reported Friday night in the 11000 block of West US 224. According to the report, a man wearing a black stocking cap and carrying a black handgun in his waistband took $20 bills from the location. A spokesperson from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was unable to release further details Saturday afternoon.

An 8000-block North TR 75 caller reported Saturday someone stole his mailbox.

A caller in the 11000 block of West SR 18 requested to speak to a deputy Saturday afternoon regarding a stolen television. According to the report, the caller claimed to know who took the TV.

Fostoria reports

A woman was at the station Friday afternoon to report her ex-boyfriend assaulted her, took her car title, and had been hanging around the parking lot at her work.

A 400-block West Lytle Street caller reported Friday afternoon someone took his pre-paid VISA and had been using it.

A woman reported Friday afternoon a man was scaring her. She requested an officer.

A caller reported Friday afternoon a residence in the 200 block of West North had been broken into and all the copper was missing.

A caller from Dairy Queen, 1204 N. Countyline, reported Friday afternoon a customer came in with fake currency. The report was under investigation.

A possible computer scam was reported Friday afternoon in the 200 block of East Crocker.

A $25 gasoline drive-off was reported Friday evening from the Certified station, 100 E. Lytle.

A caller in the 300 block of Summit reported early Saturday morning having new information about a car keying incident from a week ago. An investigation was pending.

A caller from the emergency room at Fostoria Community Hospital, 501 Van Buren, requested an officer Saturday for an assault victim. According to the report, the victim didn’t know who assaulted him, and didn’t wish to press charges.

A 300-block Clinton Avenue woman reported Saturday morning a vehicle drove through her yard and hit her tree.

A 200-block Ohio Avenue woman reported Saturday morning someone backed into her fence.

A caller reported Saturday morning she hit a man on a bike, but he said he was fine and rode off.

State Patrol

OSP personnel responded to an accident Friday evening at North SR 53 and East CR 38. According to the report, the wreck was a two-vehicle roll-over accident. A spokesperson for OSP said only minor injuries were sustained, and involved an OVI offense. Clinton EMS and Tiffin EMS responded to the scene, in addition to Echo 1, according to the sheriff’s office.

A son, Josiah Michael Montgomery, was born Friday, May 9, 2014, to Ashley Trautman and Michael Montgomery of Green Springs. Josiah weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 20 inches long.
