The theft of books was reported Friday afternoon in the 100 block of Miami Street.

A gasoline drive-off was reported Friday in the 200 block of North Washington Street.

A first-block St. Clair caller reported early Saturday morning hearing the back door rattle like someone was trying to get into the residence. According to the report, there was damage to foam board at the back of the house, but no entry was made.

A caller reported Saturday morning a window was broken out of a van in the 200 block of South Sandusky Street.

A first-block West Market Street caller reported Saturday afternoon two girls urinated in his yard.

Robert McCutcheon, 22, of Cleveland, was charged Saturday with open container in a motor vehicle.

Sandra Hamilton, 59, of Tiffin, was charged Saturday with operating a vehicle while under the influence.

County reports

A person was at the station Friday afternoon to report a vehicle tore up a field in the vicinity of North TR 72 and West CR 42.

A SCAT supervisor and driver were at the station Friday afternoon to report a vehicle’s tires were slashed.

A theft report was made Friday evening in the first block of Maple Lane.

A caller in the 8000 block of North TR 68 reported Friday evening two subjects were behind the residence smoking marijuana and crack.

Child abuse was reported Friday night in the first block of East Maple.

A caller reported Saturday morning a theft at his vacant residence in the 17000 block of East TR 60.

A caller in the vicinity of North CR 11 and North TR 135 reported Saturday morning a dog was stuck in a tile drain.

A person was at the office Saturday morning to report someone had signed his name as a cosigner to a document.

Fostoria reports

A caller from Good Shepherd Nursing Home requested an officer Friday evening regarding an employee.

A caller from Kroger, 226 W. High St., requested to speak to an officer Friday evening about possible credit card fraud. An investigation was pending.

A caller from Good Shepherd Nursing Home reported a theft from her jacket pocket at the nurses’ station Friday night.

A large fight was reported early Saturday morning outside Candyland, 224 N. Main.

Fostoria police received a report Saturday afternoon from the Fostoria Auditors Office, 213 S. Main, that counterfeit bills had been used at several locations.

Tiffin accident

A vehicle was struck Saturday afternoon when another vehicle slipped out of park and rolled down a hill in the first block of West Market Street.
