Tiffin reports

Brent A. Smith, 42, of Tiffin, was charged with assault for an incident April 8.

A first-block North Sandusky Street caller reported Wednesday afternoon prescription medication had been stolen sometime within the last month.

Austin E. Porter, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Wednesday evening.

A gasoline drive-off was reported Wednesday night at Circle K, 272 N. Sandusky St.

A man reported Wednesday night his wallet was stolen from the first block of Greenfield Street.

A caller from Walmart, 2801 W. SR 18, reported Wednesday night a man took a pair of boots and left his old boots in the shoe box.

A caller from Pit Stop, 321 E. Perry St., reported a gasoline drive-off Thursday afternoon.

County reports

Brandi E. Dull, 32, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday.

A 200-block West Adams Street woman reported early Thursday morning it sounded as if someone was trying to get into her house. She said she didn’t see anyone or any vehicles.

Fostoria reports

A 500-block Stearns Road woman requested to speak to an officer Wednesday afternoon about her grandson who may have stolen items from her. Two laptops that allegedly were stolen from a school were located, according to the report.

A man reported Wednesday afternoon an SUV tried to run over him in the 1600 block of North Countyline Street. The man later claimed a leg injury, according to the report. Police were unable to locate the SUV. A message was left Thursday for Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department seeking more information.

Nicholas P. Sheridan, 30, of Fostoria, was charged with possession of criminal tools Wednesday afternoon in the 700 block of East Fremont Street. Police had searched a vehicle, according to the report. The vehicle was towed.

A 200-block East North Street woman reported Wednesday evening her neighbor threatened kids that he’d kill them if a dog didn’t stop barking.

A 200-block South Union Street man reported Wednesday night a woman stole his cell phone. The cell phone was attained form the woman and given back to the man.

An employee of CSX reported Thursday morning a truck was broken into.

Tiffin accident

Matthew C. Mckenzie, 19, of Tiffin, was cited with improper backing following an accident Monday morning at Nelson and West Market streets.

Fostoria accident

A woman was injured in a bike accident Wednesday evening in the 600 block of Maple Street. A message was left Thursday for Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department seeking more information.

Fire

Old Fort fire and Bettsville EMS were called to CR 34 early Thursday morning for an electrical panel that was smoking.

Tiffin EMS had two squad runs Wednesday afternoon and one squad run Wednesday night.

Attica fire and EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Wednesday evening.

McCutchenville fire and New Riegel EMS had a squad run Wednesday night.

Bloomville fire and EMS had a squad run Wednesday night.

Bascom fire and EMS had a squad run early Thursday morning.

Kansas fire, Bettsville EMS and the Echo unit had a squad run Thursday morning.
