Elmwood sells GS facilities | Advertiser-Tribune GREEN SPRINGS — Elmwood's health care and residential campus in Green Springs has been sold to a New York company that operates similar facilities. Kathy Hunt, owner and CEO of Elmwood Communities, announced the sale Monday. Effective this month, the sale includes Elmwood Healthcare Center, Elmwood Nursing Home, Elmwood Assisted Living and Elmwood Independent Living Village. Hunt is to retain ownership of the natural sulfur springs and the group homes for adults with individual intellectual disabilities in Green Springs.
