sPower suspending Seneca Wind project

sPower, a renewable energy independent power producer, announced today that it will not refile an application – which would have covered the Seneca Wind project in Scipio, Reed, Venice, Eden and Bloom townships – with Ohio Power Siting Board at this time.

The Seneca Wind project was a proposed 200-megawatt wind farm with up to 77 wind turbines on about 25,000 acres of privately leased land in Seneca County.
