The officiant was grandfather of the bride, Richard Garman. A reception followed the ceremony at the pavilion. The bride is the daughter of Gary Kurtz and Lori Lees of Springboro. The groom is the son of Gene and Jane Smith of Bascom. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory, strapless lace overlay gown with a sweetheart neckline. It was accented with a hand-beaded belt around the waist.
