Heckerd-Wells | Advertiser-Tribune Katie Heckerd and Derek Wells exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. May 24, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Joseph Szybka officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at Sycamore Community Center. Katie is the daughter of Dennis and Deborah Heckerd of Bloomville. Derek is the son of Robert and Tracy Wells of Fremont. Katie, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory gown of satin-faced taffeta, strapless neckline and ruched bodice.
