The Hoepfs | Advertiser-Tribune Walter and Mary Hoepf of Republic will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, with a celebration with their children. The couple was wed Saturday, Sept. 28, 1946, at St. Joseph Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Benedict E. Ringholz. Mary is the daughter of the late Remah and Raymond Gase and has been a wife and mother. Walter is the son of the late Eulalia and Leo Hoepf. He was a farmer on their farm north of Republic and an Adams Township trustee.
