Man killed, pregnant woman grazed in Cleveland shooting
CLEVELAND (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting on Cleveland’s east side that left one man dead and a pregnant woman injured.
Four people were sitting inside a parked car at an apartment complex in the city’s Buckeye-Shaker Square neighborhood when an unknown gunman began firing into the vehicle around 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia says the driver of the car sped away from the scene. He flagged down Shaker Heights police at an intersection in the suburban city after realizing his two backseat passengers were wounded.
WOIO-TV reports 25-year-old Tyler Cochran, of Euclid, was shot in the head and died in the vehicle.
A 26-year-old woman who is in her fourth month of pregnancy was grazed in the back. She was treated and released.
Police have no suspects at this time.
