GOLF: After one week of second half of the Amvets League, Bob Haeflng and Tom Hay lead with 15 1/2 points, while there is a tie for second between the teams of Jim and John Ferstler and Steve Schafer and Tim Mannas. Prize holes went to Tom Miller (closest in two on No. 12), Herb Love (closest to pin on No. 18) and Brian Krauss (long putt on No.10).

n Shawn Coppus shot a 40 for low gross, and Paul Gosche had low net with 33 in the Tuesday Night PJ Brickhouse League at Loudon Meadows. Prize winners were Jason King (long putt, No. 3), Jeremy Schumm (closest to pin, No. 8),and Denny Brickner (most double bogies).

n The 39th annual Oak Harbor All-Nighter Tournament is July 12-13. Cost is $160 per team and $12 per umpire. Call Mike Williamson (419) 603-7687 for entry.

OHSAA MEETING: Upper Sandusky High School will have its fall sports parent meeting July 22 at 7 p.m. in the gym. Parents of all fall sports athletes are expected to attend. There will be a general meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Followed by individual sport meetings.

BASKETBALL CAMP: The Heidelberg men’s basketball team has several dates for camps this summer. They are July 16-19 (boys grades 6-9), which costs $125; July 22-23 (boys and girls Pre K-1), which costs $30; and July 24-26 (boys 2-5), which costs $100.
