JV TENNIS: Upper Sandusky got doubles wins against Shelby from the duos of Seth Mawer and Ben Blankenship (8-4), Jacob Herbert and Blake Herbert (8-1), and Xander Hildebrand and Ethan Steele (9-7).

n Clyde’s Sam Borden, Hunter Rofkar, Ethan Keegan, Mat Jackson, Grant McMaster and Jackson Coley each won a match against Sandusky.

n Columbian got doubles wins against Oak Harbor from Jaythan Triplat and Brian Siesel, Evan Messer and Dustin Hawk, Landin Daum and Allyson Riley, and Hayden Riley and Samantha Kimmett.

GOLF: Don Kin, Bob Shultz, Fred Smith and Ed Jones tied the team of Jim Carter, Greg Bishop, John Garfield, Rick Ward and Don Hall at 6 under to end atop the standings of the Wednesday Senior League at Clinton Heights. Prize holes went to Craig Neither (closest in one), Shultz (closest in two, long putt) and Kin (closest in three).

n The 2019 Par Tee League, sponsored by Phat Cakes, starts May 7 at Clinton Heights. The league lasts 18 weeks and will be played in three seasons. Players can tee off between 4-6 p.m. This is a league with individual play with handicap. League players will collect points for each week based on how they play each of the nine holes each week.
