Bulldogs rally to drop Redmen

FOSTORIA — Rossford rocketed past Fostoria in the second half to erase a nine-point deficit on the way to a 60-50 Northern Buckeye Conference win.

Fostoria (1-3, 0-1 NBC) looked to be in control after using a 19-8 burst in the second period to enter halftime up 25-16.

But Sammie Mikonowicz scored 12 of her game-high 28 points in the third quarter to spark a comeback and the Bulldogs outscored FHS 45-25 in the second half to get the win.

Megan Dunne added 14 points for Rossford (1-2, 1-0) and Katie Glowacki tossed in eight.

Tyriana Settles tallied 15 points and nine rebounds for the Redmen. Mary Harris added 11 points and Rubi Dessausure scored eight.
