Raiders snap Calvert’s 7-match winning streak

Calvert was riding a seven-match winning streak heading into a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division dual with Lakota Tuesday at Mohawk Country Club.

The Raiders snapped the streak with a 182-191 victory.

Kyleigh Dull led the Raiders (8-1 SBC) with a 42, while Ethan Longoria added a 46 and Jayden Bonnell and Marshall Minich shot twin 47s. Connor Hill shot a 49 and Colt Dible finished with a 63.

For Calvert (7-3, 6-3 SBC), Brayden Thomas shot a 44, Dominic Mangiola added a 47, Jacob Kin carded a 49 and Maddy Brown rounded out the scoring with a 51. Will Klepper shot a 55 and Braeden Elchert ended with a 65.

“Tough night for us in a pivotal league match,” Senecas coach Joel Ardner said. “Our putting really let us down today. It’s something that we’ve worked on literally every practice, but clearly we still need to improve.

“We’ve still got a shot at the conference title if we can get it together at the SBC Tournament, so we will regroup and work towards that.”

Stockaders take down New Riegel

Old Fort’s Kaleb Wilkinson and New Riegel’s Jacob Theis each shot a 43 Tuesday at Seneca Hills, but it was Wilkinson’s teammates that got the Stockaders a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win, 181-198.

Backing Wilkinson was Jarett Woodall (44), Carson Steyer (45) and Jack DeRan (49). Colin Nutter shot a 50 and Andrew Combs finished with a 53 for Old Fort (5-5).

For New Riegel (1-9), Dalton Reinhart and Sam Whipple each carded a 51 and Brandon Seifert shot a 53. Carson Whipple (54) and Eric Theis (63) also competed for the Blue Jackets.

Bucks handle Redmen

BUCYRUS — Adam Krebs fired a 45 to help Buckeye Central down Bucyrus 193-208 at the Golf Club of Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference matchup.

Nick Fike and Nic Ratliff shot twin 49s for the Bucks (3-6, 2-4 N10) and Jared Mason and Alex Kanney both shot a 50. Logan Niese had a 54.

Rams drop Warriors

Brett Montgomery made three birdies on his way to shooting a 34 to lead Upper Sandusky to a 166-221 Northern 10 Athletic Conference victory over Mohawk.

Trevor Clifford fired a 41 for the Rams (9-0, 5-0 N10), while Evan Young shot a 45 and Isaiah Washburn carded a 46. Owen Knapp (47) and Ben Latham (48) also competed.

Logan Drum’s 45 led the Warriors (0-5). They also got a 58 from Zach King and 59s by Reese Hannam and Owen England. Evan Kuenzli shot a 60 and Kaiden Montgomery finished with a 61.

Sarka’s 39 lifts Tornadoes

HURON — Ava Sarka dropped a pair of birdies and shot a 39 Tuesday at Thunderbird South to help Columbian to a 195-199 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win over Perkins.

Taylor Losey had a 48 for TC (5-2), while Meredith Obringer added a 51 and Tyler Ward shot s 57. Norah Smith had a 64 and Audrey Buskirk ended with a 66.

For Perkins (6-2), Katie Visci recorded a 45. The Pirates also got a 50 from Lexee Kim and 52s from Lauren Visci and Alyvia Gilchrist.

Bellevue hands TC its first loss

CLYDE — Bellevue was consistent Tuesday at Sleepy Hollow. The Redmen used balanced scoring to give Columbian its first Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division defeat, 171-174.

Bellevue’s Layne Krupp led everyone with a 40, while Garrett Vickery and Hudson Strayer added and Connor Rospert finished with a 45. Hayden Foos shot a 53 and Jackson Moyer followed with a 57.

Andrew Branson shot a 41 to lead TC (5-1). It also got a 42 from Trevor McCarthy, a 43 from Brenton Brown and a 48 by Griffin Bunting.

Greg Gase had a 49 and Collin Anway fired a 51.

Upper Sandusky drops Warriors

UPPER SANDUSKY — Upper Sandusky topped Mohawk with a score of 224. Mohawk had four girls play and one retired due to an illness, giving the victory to the Rams in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference win.

Leading the Rams was Kendra Conley with a 52, while Katie Conley and Hally Courtad shot twin 57s and Katie Clark had a 58. Olivia Barth (64) and Grace Sayre (68) also played for the Rams.

Rockets blow by Blue Devils

BUCYRUS — Brock Williams led Ridgedale with a 38 to help the Rockets get by Carey 167-174 in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference dual at New Winchester.

Backing Williams was Grant Park, shooting a 39. The Rockets also got a 42 from Jesse Schertzer and a 47 from Merrick Cooper.

Ethan Tanner carded a 42 for Carey (3-2, 2-1 N10), while Peyton Young and Dylan Grothaus both shot a 43 and McKain Miller rounded out the scoring with a 46. Brayden Miller shot a 47 and Carter Frederick finished with a 48.
