Konkle, Warriors roll past Wynford 3-0

BUCYRUS — Alexa Konkle had a double-double and two teammates nearly did Thursday as Mohawk overpowered Wynford 25-11, 25-11, 25-9 for a Northern 10 Athletic Conference win.

Konkle (2 kills) tallied 27 assists, 12 digs and three aces for the Warriors (7-1, 4-1 N10).

Madi Chester turned in 12 kills, eight digs and five aces, and Kaylee Ward ended with 10 digs, nine kills and three aces.

Aubrey Margraf came up with 12 more digs and Emma Myers-Huffman (2 blocks) and Paityn Clouse each slammed four kills.

Senecas ease

past Gibsonburg

GIBSONBURG — Calvert rolled past Gibsonburg 25-9, 25-9, 25-10 Thursday in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play.

Emma White registered 19 assists and three aces for the Senecas, Zoe Meyer hammered nine kills and Kate Rombach slammed eight kills and three aces.

Sophie Burtis backed them with nine assists, Shelby Hemminger and Ashlyn Jones both had seven digs and Lexie White drilled two solo blocks.

Tigers even mark

UPPER SANDUSKY — Jill Allgyre had a double-double Thursday to help Seneca East even its record by beating Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Upper Sandusky 25-19, 25-9, 16-25, 25-20.

Allgyre turned in 14 assists and 12 digs for the Tigers (4-4, 3-2 N10).

Lauren Bogner chipped in 25 digs, Jessie Bowerman bashed 10 kills and three aces, Maria Phillips had 10 digs and five aces and Emily Siesel slammed three blocks.

Jadyn Smalley gave the Rams (1-8, 1-4) 25 digs. Eve Smith had 15 assists, 15 digs and three aces, and Emily Hill lined seven kills.

Stockaders knock

back St. Joe

OLD FORT — Three Old Fort players combined for 33 kills Thursday in a 25-10, 25-19, 25-11 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Fremont St. Joe.

Savannah McCoy (2 aces) led the way with 13 kills and 11 digs, Jenna Clouse (2 blocks) belted 12 kills and Morgan Miller had eight kills, 12 digs and four aces for the Stockaders.

Madison Guth (2 aces) added 24 assists, four digs and three kills, Ashlyn Magers had 14 digs and three aces, MarcQue Harris (2 aces) came up with nine digs and Grace Wasserman lined three kills.

Blue Jackets get

back to winning

SANDUSKY — It didn’t start well for New Riegel.

Two days after suffering its first loss of the year — in three games — the Blue Jackets narrowly dropped the opening game 26-24 to Sandusky Bay Conference River Division foe Sandusky St. Mary.

But the Blue Jackets bounced back from there with wins of 25-22, 25-18, 25-18 to improve to 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the SBC River Division.

Aubrey Bouillon paced New Riegel with 32 assists, 16 digs, six kills and three aces, with Mariana Tiell adding 11 digs and eight assists.

Kaitlyn Kirian crushed 19 kills, Brooklyn Gillig had 18 digs, Christen Hohman added 12 digs and five kills, Jordan Hohman provided seven kills and five digs, Julia Reinhart lined seven kills and Madalyn Reinhart finished with seven digs.

Fliers out-scrap Sandusky

CLYDE — Clyde battled past Sandusky 25-14, 23-25, 25-12, 19-25, 15-10 Thursday in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division action.

Grace Ball registered 41 assists and 13 digs for the Fliers, Ruby Schabel had 16 kills, eight digs and four blocks, and Jackie Smith tallied 10 digs and nine kills.

Braylin Caudill added 15 digs and five kills, Izzy Montano provided 13 digs, Elaynah Noftz chipped in 10 digs, and Maddy Andecover belted nine kills.

Raiders break into win column

KANSAS — Lakota earned its first win Thursday by dropping Sandusky Bay Conference River Division rival Danbury 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.

Madison King (2 aces) tallied 10 kills and nine digs for the Raiders (1-7, 1-3 SBC), Grace Swaisgood registered 17 digs and three aces and Anna Brubaker (2 assists) came up with 11 digs.

Qiara Palos backed them with seven assists, six digs and four kills, Katelyn Klotz handed out 11 assists, Mariah Woodruff added five digs and three assists, Kendra McDole turned in four kills and four digs, Amber Eubank belted four kills and Addisyn Marshall lined two kills.

Lake hands first loss to Redmen

MILLBURY — Fostoria suffered its first loss of the year Thursday, falling 25-22, 25-15, 25-23 to Northern Buckeye Conference foe Lake.

Tyriana Settles led the Redmen (8-1, 3-1 NBC) in the loss with 23 kills, 10 digs and three solo blocks.

Dakota Thomas tossed up 25 assists, Mary Harris had 15 digs and four kills, Zoe Rice added seven digs and three aces and Baleigh Robinson (2 aces) chipped in five digs and three kills.
