Senecas extend winning streak to seven

Calvert won its seventh straight match Thursday with a 187-200 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division victory over Sandusky St. Mary at Mohawk Country Club.

Leading Calvert (7-2, 6-2 SBC) was Dominic Mangiola and Maddy Brown with twin 43s. It also got a 50 from Braeden Elchert and a 51 from Jacob Kin. Will Klepper (56) and Max Paul (57) also competed.

Casey Crooks shot a 44 for the Panthers, while Ashton Goff added a 45, Carson Kasper registered a 55 and Jon Perry shot a 56.

Royals remain unbeaten

BUCYRUS — Caity Schiefer fired a 43 to help Wynford stay undefeated in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference with a 197-209 victory over Seneca East at the Golf Club of Bucyrus Thursday.

Backing Schiefer was Emily Rudd (50), Gabby Johnson (51) and Abby Underwood (53). Kassidy Stanfford shot a 55 and Kim Tuck ended with a 64.

For Seneca East (3-3), Autumn Enders led the way with a 49, while Olivia Boeser shot a 52. Alivia Lucius, Moriah Love and Ellie French all shot a 54. Taylor Greilich finished with a 55.

Forehand’s 33 fuels Tigers

Seneca East’s Jake Forehand carded a 33 to lead the Tigers past Mohawk 158-191 at Seneca Hills in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference matchup.

Blake Miller added a 39 for Seneca East (3-2), while it also got a 42 from Turner Bridgford and a 44 by Andrew Kalb. Andy Bauman carded a 46 and Jay Shock had a 58.

Logan Drum shot a 41 for Mohawk (0-4), while Evan Kuenzli and Reese Hannam shot twin 49s and Zach King recorded a 52. Owen England shot a 55 and Kaiden Hammer ended with a 59.

H-L girls 2nd in tri-match

NORTH BALTIMORE — North Baltimore’s Jordan Bucher led everyone with a 42 Thursday and helped her team top Hopewell-Loudon and Elmwood in a tri-match at Birch Run.

The Tigers beat H-L 210-226, while Elmwood shot a 233.

Lilly Westgate added a 48 for NB, while Jordan Baker had a 55 and Meghan Thompson ended with a 65.

For H-L, Kiley Cline led the charge with a 48, while Abbey Yarris had a 56, Morgan Searles (60) and Olivia Zender (62) also played. Hannah Fought had a 70 and Kasey Thompson shot a 71.

Kaylie Kingery shot a 50 for the Royals. They also got a 54 from Taylor Tyson, a 59 by Haley Zimmerman and 70s from Abi Lee and Solanna Riddle.

Old Fort gets 4th win

CLYDE — Jarett Woodall and Andrew Combs each shot a 47 Thursday at Green Hills as Old Fort topped Gibsonburg 191-200 in a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division match.

Carson Steyer added a 48 for Old Fort (4-5) and Jack DeRan rounded out the scoring with a 49. Colin Nutter and Kaleb Wilkinson both shot a 50.

For Gibsonburg (2-5), Mitchel Delventhal had a 45, while Nathan Tornow carded a 49, Tyler Pelish shot a 50 and Nick Tornow ended with a 56.

Elgin takes care of Rams

NEW BLOOMINGTON — Maddie Hurtt and Kayedon Martin shot twin 50s to lead Elgin past Upper Sandusky 207-226.

Ashley Watkins had a 51 and Hannah Brush finished with a 56 for Elgin (2-4).

Kendra Conley recorded a 53 for the Rams (1-7), while Katie Clark added a 54, Hally Courtad shot a 59 and Katie Conley posted a 60.

Wildcats edge Tornadoes

Columbian’s Griffin Bunting carded a 44, but it wasn’t enough as Bowling Green slipped past the Tornadoes 180-182 at Mohawk Country Club.

Andrew Branson tacked on a 45 for TC, while Brenton Brown had a 46 and Trevor McCarthy shot a 47. Greg Gase had a 51 and Gabe Reyes ended with a 55.

Bowling Green got a 43 from Isaac Elsasser, a 44 from Thomas Kampf, a 45 by Connor Bergeron and a 48 from Kolin Atwood and Ryan Schonter.

Bucks dominate Warriors

Buckeye Central’s Alli Stahl shot a 42 to propel the Bucks to a 203-250 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win over Mohawk at Clinton Heights.

Leah Vanderpool had a 50, Lexi Biglin added a 53 and Liz Heydinger posted a 58. Layne Vanderpool shot a 59 and Beth Cronau finished with a 64.

Alayna Kindle fired a 50 for Mohawk. Carlee Hummel added a 63, Emmah Danner tacked on a 66 and Kaiden Mathias had a 71.
