Seneca East serves up Bucyrus

ATTICA — Four Seneca East players tallied at least three aces each Thursday as the Tigers dropped Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Bucyrus 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.

Tori Fritz led the serving onslaught with six aces, Jillian Allgyre and Lauren Bogner both belted four and Jessica Bowerman hammered three.

Bowerman also registered a double-double for the Tigers (3-3, 2-1 N10) with 14 kills and 11 assists, while Allgyre also tossed up 14 assists and Bogner came up with 15 digs.

Maria Phillips chipped in 11 digs, Fritz lined seven kills and Alexis Hicks drilled four kills and three blocks.

Stockaders power

past Gibsonburg

OLD FORT — Old Fort raced past Gibsonburg 25-9, 25-15, 25-15 Thursday in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play to move to 5-1.

Madison Guth tallied 20 assists, four digs and three kills for the Stockaders (2-0 SBC), Ashlyn Magers had 15 digs and three aces and Morgan Miller turned in 12 digs and three kills.

Jenna Clouse backed them with 10 kills and four digs, MarcQue Harris chipped in 10 digs, Grace Wasserman lined seven kills, Savannah McCoy registered seven digs and three kills, Jordan Reineck blasted five aces and Chloe Wilkinson smacked three kills.

Bullion golden for Redmen

BELLEVUE — Molly Bullion fueled the offense in a big way and joined Payton Vogel and Taylor Baxter by turning in a double-double Thursday as Bellevue outlasted Perkins 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 21-25, 17-15 in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.

Bullion went 121 for 121 setting for 63 assists for the Redmen, adding 20 digs and two aces.

Vogel chipped in 35 kills, 26 digs and five blocks, while Baxter had 21 kills, 18 digs and three blocks.

Kami Hay and Madison Hrynciw both registered 14 digs, with Hrynciw also lining three aces.

Riley Mohr hammered eight kills and three blocks for Bellevue.

Blue Jackets jump to 6-0

KANSAS — Kaitlyn Kirian hammered 16 kills and three aces Thursday as unbeaten New Riegel beat Sandusky Bay Conference River Division foe Lakota 25-14, 25-15, 25-12.

Aubrey Bouillon (2 aces) backed Kirian with 18 assists, six kills and six digs for the Blue Jackets (6-0), Christen Hohman had seven kills and three digs and Brooklyn Gillig came up with six digs.

Jordan Hohman added four aces and four kills and Madalyn Reinhart (2 aces) tallied five digs.

Warriors hammer Carey

SYCAMORE — Madi Chester and Kaylee Ward combined for 24 kills, 15 digs and five aces Thursday to key Mohawk’s 25-12, 25-15 25-18 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Carey.

Chester tallied 15 kills, eight digs and two aces for the Warriors (5-1, 2-1 N10) while Ward (2 assists) had nine kills, seven digs and three aces.

Alexa Konkle (2 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces) backed them with 33 assists and five digs, Aubrey Margraf came up with seven digs, Ellie Shaw had six digs, Emma Myers-Huffman smacked five kills and five blocks, Paityn Clouse (2 digs) lined four kills and three blocks, and Tess Weinandy (2 assists, 2 digs) belted three kills.

Senecas blast St. Joe

FREMONT — Calvert overwhelmed Fremont St. Joe 25-7, 25-12, 25-8 Thursday for a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division victory.

Emma White gave the Senecas 12 assists, four kills and four digs in the win, and Lexie White drilled nine kills.

Sophie Burtis (2 kills) handed out eight assists, Zoe Meyer tallied five kills, five solo blocks and four digs, Shelby Hemminger turned in five digs, Kate Rombach drilled two kills and Mallary Nielsen lined two solo blocks.

Fliers fall to Norwalk

CLYDE — Norwalk beat Clyde 25-22, 25-12, 25-18 Thursday in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.

Grace Ball had 22 assists and three digs for the Fliers in the loss, and Maddy Andecover belted nine kills.

Ruby Schabel added eight kills, six blocks and three digs, Braylin Caudill (2 blocks) had seven digs and four kills and Jackie Smith drilled five kills and three blocks.
