RESULTS POLICY: Coaches turning in results for any sport are reminded to use full names for all athletes. Handwriting must be legible. Photos of scorebooks must be in focus and well lit. Records should be included. Results for high school and college events must be turned in that day by 9:30 p.m., barring extenuating circumstances (overtime, late start, etc.). All other events must be turned in by 8 p.m. Results can be turned in via email at sports@advertiser-tribune.com, fax at (419) 447-3274, telephone at (419) 448-3250 or in the drop box by the paper’s front door at 320 Nelson St. Results must be turned in the day of the event. Depending on time constraints, games and events turned in which do not include full names or are turned in late may not have recaps written about them. Results which are unreadable will not be included in the paper.

PREP GOLF: Kyleigh Dull fired a 42 to edge Calvert’s Brayden Thomas by a stroke Monday, leading Lakota to a 175-182 win. Ethan Longoria and Connor Hill backed Dull with twin 44s for the Raiders, and Jayden Bonnell shot a 45. Colt Dible (46) and Marshall Minich (51) also played for Lakota. Dominick Mangiola and Maddy Brown each shot a 45 for Calvert, and Jacob Kin had a 49. Will Klepper (51) also played for the Senecas.

GOLF: The New Riegel Athletic Boosters will hold the Teresa Kessler Scholarship Big Cup scramble Sept. 9 at Fostoria Country Club. The event tees off at 9 a.m. All holes will have eight-inch cups except for the par 3s. Baumann Chevrolet-Buick-GMC of Tiffin will sponsor the par-3 hole-in-one contests. Cost is $200 per four-person team, which includes golf, cart, lunch, skins and hole-in-one contests. The deadline to enter is Sept. 2. To enter, call (419) 934-0227 or (419) 310-0553.

n Kyle Daugherty and Glenn Fogle lead Kenny Baumann and Brian Kidwell 133-129 in the the YMCA League at Seneca Hills. Prizes went to Gary Lynch (closest to pin No. 13) and Ed Otte (long putt No. 12).

n Marie Shuey and Amy Mattson top the standings in the Baumann Women’s Monday Night Scramble League at Clinton Heights. Jani Yanni and Juli Weininger won a skin. Prizes went to Linda Phares and Debbie Gerschutz (long putt No. 1), Donna Thacker and Stephanie Miller (long drove No. 4) and Tori Lee and Bria Gibson (closest in two No. 7).

n Dave Purnell and Gary Espejo lead the last third of the Reineke Two-Man Scramble Monday Morning League with 23 1/2 points, while Mike Hampp and Ted Rombach are atop the overall yearly standings with 83 points and have the final playoff spot. Prizes went to Espejo, Hampp, Carl Rainey, Dick Hull and Rombach.

n Joe Cline of Fostoria fired a 1-under 70 to rally from six shots back on the fourth round to claim the Jed’s Toledo Am with a 2-over 286 at Detwiler Golf Course in Toledo. Cline’s brother, Brian Cline, also of Fostoria, finished with a 291 to end as the low mid-amateur (30-39).
