FUNDRAISER: You can support the Hopewell-Loudon girl’s basketball program by taking a free test drive at Reineke’s Tiffin Ford Lincoln from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday Ford Motor Co. will donate $20 per test drive to the H-L girl’s basketball program (up to $6,000). There is to be free hot dogs and refreshments. The event occurs rain or shine. No sales obligation.

COACH OPENING: Seneca East seeks a varsity boys basketball coach. Teaching position may be available but that is unknown at this time. Email a letter of interest, resume, and references to Athletic Director Doug Mason, at domason@se-tigers.com. Application deadline is May 11, or until position is filled.

GOLF: The Seneca Hills AMVETS League starts May 16. All teams from last season must call Bob Grothaus at (567) 207-5651 to sign up for this season. The kickoff dinner at the AMVETS is at 6 p.m. May 9. Substitutions and new players must also check in if you wish to play. Play starts at 9 a.m. and is to be two-man teams.

n The Columbian football program will hold its inaugural TC Football Alumni and Friends Golf Outing June 10 at Clinton Heights. Cost is $220 per team and includes snack at the turn and Carmie’s catered lunch. Side games, door prizes, raffles, 50/50 and memorabilia items will be available. n Fritz Smith and John Englehart lead the Wednesday Night Men’s Catholic League at Seneca Hills with 76 points. Bud Witsman and Smith tied for low gross with 38s and Englehart shot low net with a 32.

CAL RIPKEN: The Tiffin Cal Ripken League seeks 11- and 12-year-old players. Must be 11 before May 1 and not 13 before May 1. They play with balks, leadoffs and dropped third strikes. Call Jeff Hohman at (419) 448-7321 to sign up on a team.

SUMMER VOLLEYBALL: Summer volleyball leagues are forming at Tiffin Parks and Recreation. Leagues available include women’s coed Wednesday, coed Thursday and power (Tuesday). Play begins May 22. Email Nick Basting at nbasting@tiffinohio.gov for more information.

BASKETBALL CAMP: The Upper Sandusky Lady Rams Youth Basketball Camp is June 25-28 at the high school gym. The time for grades 4-6 is 9-10:30 a.m. and grades 7-8 is 10:30 a.m. to noon. Registration deadline to guarantee a T-shirt and basketball is June 1, but campers may register up to the day of camp. Camp forms can be turned into your Upper Sandusky school or mail/dropp off to USHS with c/o Lady Rams Basketball at 800 North Sandusky Avenue, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351. MUD RUN: P.M. Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host the fifth annual Mud Run on June 9. There will be a half mile fun mud run at 9 a.m. and a 5K mud run at 10 a.m. Ages 18 and under is $20.
