OHSAA FOUNDATION GAME: Calvert’s girls basketball team will host Columbian in a 6 p.m. game Friday, with proceeds benefiting The Humane Society of Seneca County.

WRESTLING: The 41st annual Bob Bailey Bellevue Wrestling Invitational is Dec. 9. Weight class sponsors are currently being sought. Sponsorships cost $100 for a weight class recognition sponsor. Sponsors will receive a weight class sign to be displayed in the main hallway. Sponsors will be listed in the program and also be announced throughout the tournament day and evening as awards are presented. Sponsorship donations will help assists tournament expenses which include: workers, officials, trophies and plaques, security, hospitality, programs and more. Send your $100 weight class sponsor donation to Athletic Director Brian Schubert at Bellevue High School with the specific weight class you would like to sponsor. The weight classes are 106 pounds, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285.

PRESALE TICKETS: Tickets for the Bellevue-Shelby game Friday at Ashland High School are on sale 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday. They will also be on sale 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the school. Pre-sale tickets cost $8. Bellevue receives $1.20 of each pre-sale ticket sold.

GOLF: The Wednesday Senior League at Clinton Heights was won by Carl Rainey, Greig Bishop, Gary Espejo and Mike Hampp at five under. Two teams tied at three under for second. Prizes went to Ray Nutter (closest in one on No. 5), Tom Ardner (closest in two on No. 3), Rainey (closest in three on No. 9) and Ardner (long putt on No. 1).

BOWLING: Harry Smith won both the men’s high score and high series in the Allen Eiry Center League at Heritage Lanes Wednesday. The men’s high score was 214 and the high series was 361. Robin Brownell bowled a 185 high score for the women and a 346 for the high score.

n The Tiffin Men’s Bowling Association will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in the K of C Hall to discuss rules for the City Tournament. For more information, call Steve Steinmetz at (419) 618-6510.

JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade team routed Arlington 52-25 on Wednesday. Reid Jury and Ashton Bour lead the Chieftains with 14 points each.

n Arlington’s eighth grade team topped H-L 34-27. George Beucler led Hopewell-Loudon with 10 points while Hayden Welly added seven.

ALL-SBC FOOTBALL: Calvert’s Nick Krajewski, Austin Horn and Jaron Gase were named honorable mention All-SBC in the River Division, as was Lakota’s Logan Stone.
