OLD FORT — Sydney Kin had 17 kills and four aces, and Carey beat Old Fort 25-18, 25-19, 25-23 in a non-league match Tuesday.

Hannah Zimmerman smashed 13 kills for the Blue Devils, who improved to 9-1. McKenzie Row lined eight kills while contributing 14 digs. Lawyer Stansbury handed out 28 assists and 12 digs. Dana Worst added 15 digs.

Madison Guth’s 20 assists, nine digs, three kills and two aces sparked the Stockaders in the loss.

Jenna Clouse added 15 digs and three kills, Savannah McCoy had eight digs and four kills, Ashlyn Magers came up with eight digs, Kiely Taylor (2 blocks) tallied eight digs and six kills and Jordan Reineck had two digs.

Karl smashes 1,000th

kill, BC sweeps

NEW WASHINGTON — Buckeye Central’s Jenna Karl added a major milestone to her brilliant career, collecting her 1,000th kill during the second game of the Bucks’ three-game sweep over visiting Bucyrus.

Karl had 10 kills and 21 digs in BC’s 25-15, 25-18, 25-20 win over the Redmen, a win which pushed the Northern 10 Athletic Conference-leading Bucks to 8-1, 6-0 in the league.

Bailey Agin had 11 digs, two aces for Buckeye Central, while Emma Stump and Lexi Evac had eight kills each.

Addie Ackerman dished 34 assists and served two aces in the win.

Senecas sweep Panthers

Calvert had little trouble against Sandusky St. Mary Tuesday, getting contributions from up and down the roster in a 25-18, 25-17, 25-17 win.

Ashlyn Jones had eight kills, two digs and two aces for the Senecas, while Lexie White added seven kills to go along with 11 digs and two aces. Shelby Hemminger contributed 15 digs, while Zoe Meyer had seven kills and Hannah Myers had three kills.

Hannah Burns added four kills and two digs for Calvert, with Sophie Burtis adding 15 assists and Kennedy Smith registering nine digs, three kills, 15 assists and two aces.

Hannah Kelbley added 11 digs.

Warriors turn back Rams

SYCAMORE — Madi Chester and Destini Oler combined for 25 kills Tuesday as Mohawk out-scrapped Upper Sandusky 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 29-27 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

Chester slammed 13 kills and had eight digs and three aces for the Warriors (7-2, 5-2 N10) and Oler turned in 12 kills, seven digs and six blocks.

Alexa Konkle backed them with 37 assists and nine digs, Emma Myers-Huffman hammered nine kills and seven blocks, Keylee Ward had eight kills and eight digs, Jordyn Lease tossed up three assists and Ellie Shaw added three digs.

Anna Johnson keyed Upper Sandusky with 11 kills, 33 assists and five digs, Lillie Orians had nine kills, four block assists and four digs, and Kenedi Hayden belted eight kills.

Bre Rosario chipped in 15 digs and three aces for the Rams, Lucy Smith came up with 16 digs, and Hannah Gier and Eve Smith both had 10 digs.

Another record night for Settles

ROSSFORD — Tyriana Settles broke her own school record for kills in a match Tuesday as Fostoria upended Rossford 25-21, 25-23, 21-25, 25-13 in Northern Buckeye Conference play.

Settles hammered 47 kills, bettering the mark of 47 she set last Thursday. She went 85 for 97 hitting, and added five aces and eight digs for the Redmen (9-3, 4-1 NBC).

Dakota Thomas backed her with 49 assists, seven digs and three aces, Mary Harris had 17 digs, three kills and three aces, Bailey Robinson (2 kills) and Zoe Rice each came up with 10 digs, and Alex Talley tallied two kills and two aces.

Tigers spread attack, but fall

BUCYRUS — Seneca East’s Jess Bowerman had a double-double and three teammates approached one, but Wynford tripped up the Tigers 21-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16 Tuesday for a Northern 10 Athletic Conference win.

Bowerman paced the Tigers (2-10, 2-5 N10) with 23 assists, 19 digs, six kills and four aces.

Bonnie Bivens blasted 13 kills and eight blocks, Aubrey Saylors had 15 digs and nine kills, Jillian Allgyre registered 10 assists and nine digs and Allison Drown (2 blocks) smacked nine kills.

Tornadoes take down Lady Red in four

BELLEVUE — Emily Davis was an offensive force Tuesday, and Columbian evened its Sandusky Bay Conference mark by knocking off Bellevue in four games.

Columbian won 25-16, 19-25, 25-9, 25-18 behind 17 kills from Davis. Teammate Addy Conte added nine kills, while three Tornadoes — Amara Sullivan, Macy Allen and Carly Rosen — had seven kills each.

Niki Cole served six aces for Columbian, which improved to 6-3, 2-2 in the SBC Lake.

For Bellevue, Molly Buillion dished out 23 assists, while Payton Vogel had a team-best nine kills to go with 11 digs. Morgan D

endinger had 20 digs, while Taylor Baxter and Morgan Hicks had 11 digs apiece.

Baxter added eight kills for the Lady Red.
