JV GOLF: In a match at Sandusky St. Mary, New Riegel’s Dalton Reinhart had a 48, Ethan Pahl and Brandon Seifert each had a 51, Darek Feindel had a 53 and Devin Nye had a 54.

n In a match at Seneca Hills, Griffin Butning led TC with a 47, while Collin Anway added a 51, Garrett Bowers carded a 52 and Kyle Kantner ended with a 57. Perkins beat Columbian 190-207.

n Columbian’s Breanna Brock shot a 68, while Kacie Ludwig posted a 69 and Savannah Hagen finished with a 74 in a match against Perkins at Seneca Hills.

GOLF: Zack Fowler and Ryan Hulse are leading Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League with two weeks to go with 39 points. Steve Rau and Ed Correll lead the wild card with 145 points. Prize winners were Mark Theis (closest to pin No. 7), Ray Trautman (longest putt No. 8) and Jake Molyet (closest second shot No. 9).

n Jim Miccichi and Brian Krauss have taken over first place with 56 ½ points in the Amvets League at Seneca Hills. Prize winners were Dave Pahl (closest to hole in one No. 13), Paul Fey (long putt No. 16) and Dick Hiser (long putt No. 17).

n Rodney shot a 40 for low gross and a 33 for low net in the PJ Brickhouse League at Loudon Meadows. Prize winners were Dale Thaxton (closest to pin No. 2), JR Brickner (long putt) and Kevin Brickner (fewest putts).

n The Wednesday senior league at Clinton Heights was won by Steve Hepp, Jim Radcliffe, Howard Cottrell and Dave Welly at 8 under. In second was the team of Dave Combs, John Powell, Jack Snay and Steve Scheiber. Prize holes went to Combs (closest in one No. 5), Radcliffe (closest in two), Floyd Jackson (closest in three No. 9) and Greg Neiffer (long putt No. 4).

n The team of Dave Salucci, Ed Sterling and Dave Nye won the front 9 scramble at 5 under in the Lakeland Senior League Wednesday. Ron Minard, Rick Gerritsen and Ron Saklosky won the back 9 stableford at plus 6.

BASEBALL: The 10/11U Northern Ohio Storm baseball team based out of Tiffin will be having a tryout Saturday at 10 a.m.-noon at Gottfried Field in Melmore, 6571, South state route 100. To be eligible, the player must not turn 12 before May 1, 2018. This tournament baseball team will play in seven or eight tournaments against some of the best compeititon in the state and at some of the best facilities. PREP FOOTBALL: The Bellevue football preview will be at Port Clinton Friday, beginning with freshmen at 6 p.m., JV at 6:45 p.m. and then two quarters of live action for varsity at 7:30 p.m. at True-Lay Stadium. It’s $3 for admission. This will be the AHOF Night and Parents Night for the football and cheer programs.

JV TENNIS: Maddie Corrado and Perla Monreal, Leighann Motley and Alivia Hamons and Taylor Fisher and Kiahna Dennis all won matches against Huron for Bellevue.

n Clori Hackenburg, Hali Hagemeyer, Emma Strudthoff and Averie Fritz all won matches for Clyde against Port Clinton.
