GOLF: The Mohawk Golf Club will host its third annual Ladies Day Scramble on June 27. All lady golfers in the Tiffin area are invited. The day starts at 9:30 a.m. with a scramble followed by a lunch in the Ross Tavern catered by new chef Jimmy Jones. After lunch the ladies can play the other nine holes. n Keith Breighner and Kirk Steffani won the first third of the Reineke Clinton Heights Monday Morning Two-Man Scramble. Prizes went to Chuck Wilbert, Don Kin, Luke Fuller and Jim Ruess.
n Helen Scheid hit the long drive at No. 3 off the red tees and Dorothy Smith did the same off the black tees at the Seneca Hills Tuesday Morning Ladies League. Carla Siebenaller ended closest in one at No. 6 and Deb Walter had the best poker hand from No. 1 to No. 5.
n Sandy Burns and Kelly Burns shared the low gross honor with Jani Yanni and Juli Weininger with a 41 in the Baumann Women’s Monday Night Scramble League at Clinton Heights. Bria Gibson and Jill Griffin ended closest in two at No. 2, with Yanni and Weininger finishing with the low putts award.
n In the Tuesday Ladies Recreation League at Clinton Heights, Jane Birch leads with a 37, and Barb Clark is second with a 36. Clark was closest to the pin on No. 11, and Linda Ritzler had the long putt on No. 15.
5K MUD RUN: Fort Seneca Park will host a 5K Mud Run June 17 at 10 a.m. Also, there will be a kids fun run at 9 a.m. Call (419) 455-4028 for more information or to register.
