Krupp’s big day leads Hopewell-Loudon

ARCADIA — Hopewell-Loudon jumped all over Arcadia early Wednesday, scoring three runs in the first and second innings to build a lead it didn’t surrender, topping Blanchard Valley Conference foe Arcadia, 7-4.

The Chieftains got a big day at the plate from Kyleigh Krupp, who belted a home run and a double and drove in three runs. Nicole Colley singled three times and drove in a run, Emma Kirby singled twice and drove in a pair of runs, Hailey Coppus added a single and an RBI and Macey Malagon and Chelsey Depinet each singled twice.

Alaina Gosche was the winning pitcher, tossing seven innings, allowing three earned runs on nine hits with five strikeouts and three walks for H-L.
