Blue Streaks race past TC

SANDUSKY — Sandusky’s boys and girls opened big leads in the individual portions of the meet and kept going from there Tuesday to claim a pair of bowling wins at Cedar Lanes.

The Blue Streaks beat TC’s boys 3,063-2,563 on the strength of Wyatt Schenk rolling games of 242 and 266 for a 508 series. His effort helped Sandusky enjoy a 386-pin advantage after the individual portion.

Grant Kennedy backed him with a 452 (215, 237), Nate Nickles had a 383 (203, 180), Tyler Vincent ended with a 380 (178, 202) and Braydon Clark finished with a 359 (217-142).The Tornadoes got a 377 from Kyler Krupp (192, 185), 354 from Spencer George (178, 176), 335 from Austin Mungia (156, 179) and 304 from Graydon Bunting (166, 138). Tommy Peer added a 182 game and Keygan Yonts had a 144 game.In the girls meet, Sandusky used a 366 series from Saddie Miller (176, 190) and 322 from Brianna Weeks (187, 135) to open a 230-pin lead after the individual portion on the way to a 2,304-1,913 victory.

Alexis Blevins followed with a 284 (136, 148) for the Blue Streaks, Gwin Bishop had a 272 (127, 145) and Charlene Ward had a 255 (136, 119).Kailee Shank’s 302 (162, 140) paced TC. Ainsley Sherman added a 251 (135, 116), Ariel Hollins had a 244 (128, 116), Alexis Kirian chipped in a 238 (129, 109) and Emily Fretz ended with a 234 (130, 104).
