BASKETBALL: The Carey Teen Leadership Corps will hold the second annual Coaches vs. Cancer game Jan. 21 when Carey hosts Mohawk’s girls at 1 p.m. and Upper Sandusky’s boys at 6 p.m. TLC will sell baked goods and other items, with all proceeds benefiting Wyandot County Relay for Life.

FRESHMAN BOYS BASKETBALL: Calvert defeated New Riegel, 35-30. Chris Acree had 13 points for the Blue Jackets, while Jacob Theis had 10.

BOWLING: Ken Jones had the high men’s score (187) and the high men’s series (323) in the Allen Eiry Center bowling league. Joanne Elchert had the high women’s score (189) and high women’s series (336). Bob Reinhart (5-7), Harry Smith (3-10) and Brenda Cardenas (5-10, 3-9-10) all recorded splits.
